How to lead from your Feminine

by Odeta Kasa

If you don't already know, I am a full time entrepreneur and a part time yoga & pilates instructor, which means I work... a lot.

If I'm not teaching a yoga class, leading a women's circle, or coaching a client, I am GRINDING behind the scenes to bring my vision to life - a vision that I've had for over 4 years.

I'm not at a stage in my business (yet) where I have a full team to support me, tot take the load off of things I either don't enjoy doing or I'm not very good at doing.

So this means that everything you see from me - every event, every program, every landing page, every video - I create completely on my own

This is not something I can sustain forever, I know this, but it is a fact of early-stage entrepreneurship that I have come to accept.

In an energetic framework, this would be considered the "masculine" - I NEED my masculine to help me create these systems and structures to HOLD and SUPPORT the intuitive-bred, heart-led creative ideas that I want to put out into the world.

AND, as a woman who prefers to lead with her feminine as often as she can, it's vital that I make sure to give myself ample room to rest, recover, dream, dance, and play - as those moments of space and self-expression is where the feminine THRIVES.

Regardless of what gender you choose to identify with, we all have both masculine & feminine energies within us, and we need both to feel at harmony and balance.

A common experience for many entrepreneurs is burn out.

I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me over the years), because we're doing SO much, but not resting nearly enough.

Feminine beings living in a masculine world... it's a trap and a DEATH SENTENCE to our soul (and our health).

And often the things we ARE doing, are what we think we "should" do to keep with the Joneses (or the Kardashians in this generation I guess).

And so we keep running on the hamster wheel, with a never ending to do list, never feeling enough no matter how much we work, while our vitality, energy, libido, and ZEST for life fiddles out.

So how do we do it?

How do we spend more time in our feminine energy while still getting everything done?

How can we reclaim our sensuality, creativity, and peace again?

How can we feel enough in a world that constantly makes us feel like we're not ever enough?

STEP 1: Make some space and take a breath

If you want to stop running on empty, then babe, you HAVE to make some space for yourself. I don't care if it's 1 hour or 5 minutes.

We are not machines. We NEED to rest and recover. Log off, put everything on do not disturb, close your eyes and drop into your body.

How do you really feel? Let yourself feel it.

Hold yourself in love and compassion as you do, because I know you're probably so exhausted.

STEP 2: Let go, redefine, and realign.

Let go of everything you think you SHOULD do. Let's simplify.

Here is a free resource to help you get started - I do this exercise regularly to check in with myself, reassess, and get clear.

What are your priorities in your life what now? What matters most to YOU?

STEP 3: Call in your masculine to hold your vision.

What structures can you create in your life that allow you to flow and play? Can you carve out some intentional time in your schedule just for you? When's the last time you danced? Painted? Went for a walk with no phone? What systems can you put into place to support you?

STEP 4: Allow the feminine to flow within the structure

You carved out the time, so show up and then.... PLAY. Whatever happens within that time block is your opportunity to connect with your feminine. What do you really need?
